You can't get much more rustic than this gorgeous countryside wedding. Lucy and James celebrated their big day in a field, in the middle of the Devon, in flurry of DIY projects. Every detail was created thanks someone in Lucy's local village, and it's such a small community, that nearly everyone got involved. From sweeping up the tiny little wooden church, to sourcing a hog roast, plus milk churns for the flowers, this was an authentic local, rural affair. My favourite wedding details are Lucy's chic halterneck dress, the poppy-pod buttonholes, the vintage fabric bunting and gingham-covered jam-pot favours. Don't miss the picture of the blazer-clad ice-cream man - such a good idea for keeping your guests cool on a hot summer's day. Huge thanks to Markus MacGill from People & Pictures for his stunning photographs. Markus is currently offering 20% off wedding photography to any bride and groom who mention Before the Big Day.
