Real Rustic Cherry-Inspired Wedding: Cathleen & Eric

Thsi is one of those to-die-for weddings, where you want to copy every detail, but worry that even if you did, your wedding wouldn't look half as good. I love everything about it - the setting, the antique furniture, the rustic but chic napkins, the strawbale seats and the heavenly, heavenly cherries. So many stealworthy ideas, from writing the names of your guests on the paper table cloth, using fruit as decoration and favour, and the whole concept of bringing the indoors outdoors. I'm totally blissed out. Cathleen and Eric's wedding team included designer Rebecca, of Duet Weddings and the hugely talented photographer, Jose Villa.

Shabby-Chic Jane Austen Themed Wedding Shoot - Part 2

Time for Part 2 of this incredible Jane Austen-themed wedding shoot. You've got to love English literature as the perfect wedding inspiration, particularly if you're planning a marquee or country-house wedding. With endless wedding ideas, you're going to want to copy every one of these pictures to your wedding Pinterest board. My favourite spots? I'm loving the blackberries in the bridal bouquet, the indoor as outdoor chandelier in the garden, the decadent picnic set-up, and all the vintage details, including the cake stand, apple crates and quilt. Dress your bridesmaids and pageboys in antique clothing, and add a traditional feel to your wedding day. Huge thanks to Dominic Whiten Photography for these beautiful pictures. Don't miss the list of all the other talented vendors who made this Wedding Shoot possible - after the pics. If you didn't catch Part 1, don't miss it - click here.

Shabby-Chic Jane Austen Themed Wedding Shoot

Romantic brides who love their literature are going to adore this beautiful Jane Austin wedding shoot organised by Melissa Love Design and Orchestrated, and photographed by Dominic Whiten Photography. Theming your wedding around your favourite book is such a brilliant idea, although you've got to hope your husband isn't a fan of Lord of the Rings, or you could find your ushers dressed as orcs! My wedding was loosely styled around The Secret Garden, which meant lots of vintage keys and a wedding reception in a walled garden. This Jane Austin theme sees tonnes of pretty nods to literature and books, with a traditional English tea and picnic, plus croquet on the lawn. Stealworthy wedding ideas include the adorable striped wedding stationery, the antique silver napkin rings {start collecting now at car boot sales and off eBay}, using fruit as table decorations, and traditional English blooms like roses and lavender. I also love the flower crown worn by the 'bride'. Buckets more wedding inspiration on its way in Part 2, published first thing tomorrow!

Real Spanish Flamenco-Style Wedding

Cherries and a flamenco-style wedding dress = me in heaven. This incredible Basque country wedding took place in San Sebastian, home of more Michelin starred restaurants per capita than Paris. So not only is it an incredibly beautiful town, but the food is amazing. The happy couple chose wedding dream-team Lisa Vorce {planner}, Mindy Rice {florist} and photographer {Aaron Delesie} to create their perfect wedding, and didn't they do a fabulous job! I'm loving the beautiful old-fashioned stationery in grey, the French lavender and kumquat tree table decorations, and the traditional dancers outside the church. It's always wonderful when you include local traditions in your wedding. And have you spotted the fantastic welcome bag in the last picture? It looks so tempting - and presents are a great way to welcome your guests, particularly if they've travelled a long way.

Fruity vs Floral Wedding Cakes

Decorating your own wedding cake is a great way to keep costs down. Obviously there's nothing better than designer cake, but you don't want to be stuck with a thousand pound debt just because you went for an amazing confection from Choccywoccydoodah! Budget-savy brides buy their cake tiers from a high-street supermarket like M&S, and add their own decorations. Flowers have been in fashion for years, but recently I've seen a fabulous move towards fruity decor. Which do you prefer? Of course, you could go completely off-piste, and accessorise your wedding cake with macaroons {like this Before the Big Day bride}, or oreo biscuits! Don't miss my fabulous Wedding Cakes inspiration board on Pinterest.

Blackberry Autumn Wedding Theme

One of my best girlfriends is going to be getting married in December, but for family reasons, she had to bring forward the official ceremony to the autumn. Everything happened quite quickly, and she ended up organising her mini-wedding in just a week! {So it is possible!}. I was super-keen to get her just as excited about her autumn wedding as her winter big day, so I went into overdrive with my theme ideas, and created tonnes of Pinterest boards. One of my favourite ideas was a Blackberry Themed Wedding. I found bucket-loads of pretty inspiration....take a look at a few of my favourite ideas below.

Wedding Theme Ideas
✿ Eat: Add blackberries to your wedding cake and fill pick-your-own-style punnets with berries to each table for guests to nibble on between courses. Serve blackberry crumble for pudding.
✿ Drink: Blackberry mojitos are yummy, or just add a few blackberries to bob around in each champagne glass
✿ Dress: Add rich purple ribbon sashes for your bridesmaids dresses, and wrapped around your bouquet
✿ Decorate: If you can catch blackberries before they ripen, they look beautiful added to bouquets, buttonholes and table decorations. Make blackberry jam for wedding favours.

Dreamy Rustic Green Tomatoes & Lace Wedding Shoot

When I stumbled across this stunning wedding shoot on photographer Stephanie Williams' site, This Modern Romance, I begged her to let me feature it on my wedding blog. Luckily she acquiesed, meaning you too can enjoy the combination of two of my favourite wedding vendors in the world; Temperley London and MaeMae Paperie. Throw in the fabulous US stylists Jen Campbell and Carissa Jones plus hair pieces from Lo Boheme and you've got some seriously dreamy wedding inspiration. My favourite stealworthy wedding ideas include the ribbon alter (seriously easy to DIY), the combination of white linen and rustic wood, the cotton balls in the table arrangements and the cool grey striped straws. Plenty more inspiration from Stephanie Williams here.

Real Summer Yellow-Themed Wedding: Caroline & Toby

As the rain falls on Jubilee London, this sunny-themed wedding is a glorious reminder of the English countryside in the summer. Caroline and Toby celebrated their big day with a traditional wedding ceremony at St. Margaret The Queen Church followed by a quintessentially English wedding reception at the Buxted Park Hotel, complete with Pimm's! I'm loving the lemon yellow theme chosen by Caroline for her elegant bridesmaids' dresses and flowers. The freesias and miniature roses in the bouquets must have smelled heavenly, and look great as buttonholes against the dark of the ushers' morning suits. Lemon trees and orchids decorated the reception, and if you look closely you'll spot the guests' names written on fresh green leaves as place markers. Tonnes of wedding ideas to steal - huge thanks to Nick and Belle of Wild Weddings for these stunning pictures - for more, check out our Facebook page.

Real Apple-Green Summer Wedding: Sherrey & Carl

The bride in this summer wedding looks so happy, she's hot-stepped it into my top ten best brides ever. {Check out the rest of my favourite pictures on my Pinterest wedding inspiration board}. Sherrey celebrated her marriage to Carl at Oxford University, home to some of the grandest architecture in the world. With a colour palette of monochrome and sage, and a garden theme complete with fruit favours, there's plenty of wedding ideas to steal. My favourites? The hand-painted herb table-signs, the bridesmaids' individual fascinators {much-loved by Kate Middleton}, the garden seed favours, and the rustic raffia bows. Gorgeous pictures published with thanks to the lovely Renira & Jane Photography.

Real Italian-style Wedding: Becki & Ben

Inspired by Italy, Ben and Becki chose citrus colours as the palette for their Spring wedding - to fantastic effect. I love the simple elegance of lemons in chunky vases, and tied-cork menu holders. Their guests were encouraged to leave messages on their butterfly decorated wish tree, before enjoying a Mediterranean dinner ending with chocolate mini-tortes - yum! Thank you to Juliette Neel for her lovely pics.
