Destination Mexican Wedding Featuring a Donkey & Tequilla

The perfect wedding is an alchemy of romance, design and organisation, plus a supercalifragilistic-expialidocious photographer. In this case Stephanie Williams from This Modern Romance, seriously rocked the wedding photographs, taking pics of every little, exquisite detail. The bride and groom behind this romance are Erica and Abrahm, who celebrated their big day on Valentine's Day in the gorgeous mountain town of San Miguel De Allende in Mexico, at an historic colonial villa called Casa Chorro. The wedding theme of orange and grey, succulents, wood and French linen worked perfectly with the venue, and I've fallen for Erica's lace Monique Lhuillier dress, bespoke-dyed Kate Spade shoes and succulent bouquet. Their wedding coordinator, Guadalupe Alvarez from Penzi Weddings, did an amazing job of coordinating the three days of celebration. Not only did she provide the flowers, decor, and Benito the tequila donkey, but her team built the whole raised reception dance floor on the villa grounds in less than two days! Amazing!

Real Purple & Lace Themed English Wedding

This wonderful English wedding ticks every one of my boxes. Childhood sweethearts; check. Gorgeous gown; check. Fabulous pink shoes; check. From the colour palette to the gorgeous laser-cut cupcake covers, I'm loving every single detail. Isn't it the quintessential English wedding? There's a reason why so many brides and grooms choose a church wedding followed by a marquee reception - it's a tried and tested template that allows you add your own personal touches. Fantastic pictures, as ever, by Yana Photography.

Real Eco-Friendly Rustic Wedding - Minyoung & Joe

When the bride plays the violin at her own wedding, you're know you're not just dealing with any old big day. I've totally falled for the gorgeous Minyoung and her elegant style. From the subtle succulents in her hair, to her gorgeous ruffle-backed dress, she's class personified. The green theme carried on throughout the wedding with a garden ceremony, pistachio macaroons and cake pops displayed on vintage green cake stands. I'm also loving the place setting plant pots, and Minyoung and Joe's sweetheart table for two - always a good idea if you're planning to circulate during the dinner, and don't want to leave a gap for your other guests to talk over. Truly stunning pictures published with thanks to Jack from Sarah Yates Photography.

Dreamy Rustic Green Tomatoes & Lace Wedding Shoot

When I stumbled across this stunning wedding shoot on photographer Stephanie Williams' site, This Modern Romance, I begged her to let me feature it on my wedding blog. Luckily she acquiesed, meaning you too can enjoy the combination of two of my favourite wedding vendors in the world; Temperley London and MaeMae Paperie. Throw in the fabulous US stylists Jen Campbell and Carissa Jones plus hair pieces from Lo Boheme and you've got some seriously dreamy wedding inspiration. My favourite stealworthy wedding ideas include the ribbon alter (seriously easy to DIY), the combination of white linen and rustic wood, the cotton balls in the table arrangements and the cool grey striped straws. Plenty more inspiration from Stephanie Williams here.

Real Shabby-Chic Wedding: Bethany & Ethan

Backyard weddings are always among the most intimate of real weddings, and this one is no different. Bethany and Ethan decided they wanted an Anthropologie style wedding, filled with personal touches and hundreds of details. Bethany’s mom hand sewn all the gorgeous quilts that were a main part of the homespun decor. Handmade vintage ribbons and banners were strewn about the house saying things like “celebrate” and “eat drink and be married!” Bethany’s wedding dress was custom made on Etsy, and all the flowers and vintage decor display was designed by the talented Annette Gomez. I love all the wedding details, including the vintage typewriter for guests' messages to the bride and groom. Gorgeous pictures published with thanks to This Modern Romance.

Real Teal & Purple Desert Wedding: Amanda & Derrick - Part 2

With just too many pictures to fit into one wedding blog post, here is Part 2 of the deliciousness which is Amanda and Derrick's desert wedding. Soak up the wedding details - I'm loving the teal tablecloths teamed with vintage hydrangea blooms and single succulents. Also the I Spy photo list, designed to encourage your guests to snap as many wedding pictures as possible, it also works as a great ice-breaker to get your guests talking. Buy a similar porcelain ring dish from Paloma's Nest - they're the classiest way to display your wedding rings. Amanda and Derrick chose Reflections at the Buttes in Arizona as their ceremony venue and the beautiful The Wright House for their reception. Gorgeous pictures published with thanks to Photography By Verdi, and if you missed Part 1, click here.
