Introducing Bob Owen Photography

Brides and grooms looking for elegant, black and white photography need look no further than Bob Owen Photography. An experience wedding photographer, his timeless pictures capture magical moments in time; a carefree bride blowing bubbles at her wedding reception, a bride and groom emerging from the church into a flurry of confetti, a giggle between the bride and her new father-in-law. The best wedding photographs are captured when the bride and groom don't know they're being pictured, and Bob's discreet photographic style means he can capture those emotional wedding day moments without you even knowing he's there! Bob Owen also offers a free engagement session to every couple, so you know you'll be relaxed in front of his camera, ready for your wedding day. Whether you're getting married in the UK or abroad, Bob is happy to travel for your wedding - but make sure you book him sooner rather than later, his diary fills up fast. For more pictures of his beautiful wedding photography, take a look at his website.

Pretty Hand Painted Save the Dates

With hand-drawn wedding invitations the choice of every fashion-forward bride this season, the fabulous independent illustrators on Etsy Weddings have started to get in on the act. I'm embracing the whimsical, floral trend with this cute Save the Date by Loft Life Press. There's something about it that reminds me of an old-fashioned sampler. Every design is unique, because the Save the Date is hand-painted before being digitally converted for printing. Make sure none of your guests get booked up early, and order them this week!

Real Summer Yellow-Themed Wedding: Caroline & Toby

As the rain falls on Jubilee London, this sunny-themed wedding is a glorious reminder of the English countryside in the summer. Caroline and Toby celebrated their big day with a traditional wedding ceremony at St. Margaret The Queen Church followed by a quintessentially English wedding reception at the Buxted Park Hotel, complete with Pimm's! I'm loving the lemon yellow theme chosen by Caroline for her elegant bridesmaids' dresses and flowers. The freesias and miniature roses in the bouquets must have smelled heavenly, and look great as buttonholes against the dark of the ushers' morning suits. Lemon trees and orchids decorated the reception, and if you look closely you'll spot the guests' names written on fresh green leaves as place markers. Tonnes of wedding ideas to steal - huge thanks to Nick and Belle of Wild Weddings for these stunning pictures - for more, check out our Facebook page.

Real Crochet & Lace Themed Wedding: Meagan & Tim - Part 2

Time for Part 2 of this exquisite lace themed wedding day. With talented wedding suppliers like Joy Thigpen and Jose Villa on hand, Meagan and Tim's wedding was always going to be an incredibly beautiful affair. I'm head-over-heels in love with all the wedding ceremony and reception details. Take a look at the organic leaf-decorated cake, the luxurious flower displays set in antique stoneware vases. I'm loving how the lace tablecloths reflect the intricacy of Meagan's Claire Pettibone wedding gown, and the ushers look fabulous in their dove grey jumpers and bow-ties. Enjoy the Jose Villa pictures, ladies, you're going to want to save every single one in your wedding inspiration folders.

Real Crochet & Lace Themed Wedding: Meagan & Tim

This dreamy wedding is a perfect illustration of how you can create a feminine wedding without froth or fuss. Meagan and Tim created their big day around a crochet and lace theme, and invited the fabulous Jose Villa to take their wedding pictures. I'm completely in love with Meagan's exquisite Claire Pettibone wedding gown and veil, her pretty but sensible wedding ballet shoes, and the crochet shawls worn by each of her bridesmaids. Don't miss the pictures of their stunning wedding stationery - with it's soft grey calligraphy, and delicate tie, it's a lesson in whimsical elegance. From the ribbons tumbling from Meagan's wedding bouquet, to the Monica Johnson stones covered in crochet for their ring pillows, I'm slightly obsessed with this couple's wedding style. More exquisite wedding ideas to steal in Part 2 published later today. In the meantime enjoy these beautiful pictures.

Real Royal Blue Beach Wedding: Catherine & Wesley

Beach weddings are always fantastic fun. There's something about the sea and the sand that encourages people to kick off their heels and feel like they're on holiday. Catherine and Wesley got lucky on their April wedding day, with beautiful spring weather by the Kent seaside. I'm loving how Your Perfect Day has captured the light-hearted mood in this fab wedding video trailer. Watch for tonnes of fab wedding details, from Catherine's elegant A-line wedding dress, chignon and tiara, to the royal blue theme colour and the pretty butterfly wedding cake. They even had a confetti shower over their first dance!

How To Make Your Wedding Guests Look Cool

The moment I spotted these incredible wedding photo props, I felt the rush of wedding blog excitement. I had to share them with you! They would make for the most hilarious pictures, and even your shyest guest couldn't fail to get involved. Create a fancy dress prop box next to the photo booth at your wedding {my favourite is Foto Noir}, or place a different one at each table setting as a wedding favour. You could even have themed tables - distinguished moustaches on one, wacky glasses on the other. Buy these from Live Love Laugh Lots. P.S. I know I went a bit overboard with the pictures here, but I couldn't choose which one - they all made me happy! There's even more sets on the website!
