Purple Pale & Romantic Wedding Inspiration

Thinking about theming your wedding around the colour purple? Then take a good long look at this incredible wedding shoot by Annie Beedy of Mim & Honey, featuring flowers by Riley Messina of Erba Floral Design and wedding cakes by Cambria Goodwin of Butter. I've fallen for the rustic simplicity of the bride's rose and anemone bouquet, complete with twisted twigs and sticky buds. The wedding centrepiece is just as imaginative, with hanging grapes and rosy apples creating an opulent harvest festival feel. Add twigs and branches to your own wedding cake, for an easy DIY wedding project.

Real Romantic Castle Wedding: Natasha & Chris

Combine a castle, a beautiful Grecian-style wedding dress, and classically English country-garden flowers, and you've got one very happy wedding blogger. I'm completely in love with the elegant style of this beautiful wedding, with its lovely bridesmaids dressed in dark blue, and flower girls in white. This was a seriously big wedding party! Gorgeous couple, Natasha and Chris chose Hedingham Castle in Essex for their wedding venue, and said their vows in a Norman keep built around 1140 {wow!}, before heading outside into the beautiful gardens for their wedding portraits. I'm loving the flowers girls' crowns {huge trend for this season}, Natasha's chic up-do, Chris' sharp three-piece suit, and the gorgeous, pastel delphinium table flowers. Beautiful pictures published with thanks to the very talented Amy Turner at Imag1ne.

Whimsical Hand-Drawn Wedding Invitations

As soon as I posted a picture of this gorgeous hand-drawn wedding stationery on my Facebook page, I had a huge response from brides, so I wanted to share it with all of you who haven't quite found us on Facebook yet. They have to be some of my favourite wedding invitations of all time! They even have a kite invitation...I reckon kites are going to be a huge wedding trend this time next year. Completely bespoke, and handmade by Etsy seller Ello There, I'm in love. For more kite-themed loveliness, check out my Pinterest boards.

Real Breathtaking Renaissance-Style Wedding: Jillian & Brian

Stupendous is not a word I'd use lightly, but it's the word that jumps to mind when you see the incredible wedding dress in this Before the Big Day Real Wedding. It's a fabulous confection of ruffles and bows and feathers, with more than a little of the Carrie Bradshaw about it. And I love it! My theory is that if you're only going to get married once in your life {here's hoping}, then it's worth doing it properly. Jillian and Ben must have felt the same way, because their venue {Vizcaya Museum in Florida}, flowers and detailing are all breathtaking. This sort of wedding doesn't come cheap, but if you're working on a budget then there's plenty of wedding ideas you can steal, from the sweetie bar, to the balloon photo props and the black and white theme. You could also use their fab photographers - the very talented ladies from Simply Bloom.

Real Elegant Monochrome Wedding - Geri & Zach

If you're looking for wedding detail inspiration, then this stunning, monochrome wedding is going to blow your socks off! It's filled to the brim with fabulous details and wedding ideas - wedding coordinator, Ashley Baber, is clearly a genius. Geri and Zach chose The Inn at Serenbe for their wedding location, and elegant black and white as their colour palette. I'm loving everything, from Geri's Miu Miu shoes, to the four-tier extravagent wedding cake, Geri's anenome bouquet and the lavender bag favours. A touch of whimsy was added with carnival-themed stationery and moustache photo-props, while the mossy and apothecary jar table decorations created a woodland feel. They even gave their cute little dog a make-over with a black bow-tie. Brilliant! Huge thanks to the ladies at Simply Bloom Photography for their fabulous photographs.
