Real DIY Heart-Themed Wedding: Margaux and Max

Details, details! This wedding is ALL about the details! Margaux and Max hired the amazing Ashley Meaders to help design their big day, and her work has completely blown my mind. Just check out the vintage plates, kooky welcome table, to dessert table, cake topper, hand-stitched hearts....I could go on and on! A gorgeous fabric installation was created over the entryway to make a big impact as people walked in. It was made of braided fabric, hand-sewn garland, fabric strips, and lights. Guests wrote messages to the Max and Margaux on strips of fabric and then hung them up on baker's twine with miniature clothespeg. Ashely even made Margaux a swing out of fabrics, and created hundreds of fabric hearts to decorate the back-garden. Just goes to show how even the simplist of venues can be made special. Gorogeous pictures as ever from the team at Our Labour of Love.

Real Outdoor Vineyard Wedding with a Peony Bouquet

I think I've died and gone to wedding-heaven. This incredible big day has made me want to get married all over again. In a vineyard. On a beautiful summer's day. With a fishtail plait. I had to go back and look at my own wedding pictures to stop myself feeling jealous. {Yes I'm that odd}. I'm featuring zillions of Our Labour of Love's shots, because I can't quite find the words to describe the golden gloriousness of every wedding detail. Let's just say my favourites are the personalised fan programmes, the ombre ruffled cake, the perfect font on their place markers, Athena's huge pink bouquet, her father's kilt, and the ribbon and lace table runners. It's perfection in a Tiffany box! P.S. Athena's a lovely name for a girl, isn't it?

Real Quirky Forest Wedding: Elise & Patrick

Hands up who likes cupcakes? Well check out the chocolate wonders a few photos down, handmade with no scrimping on the icing, just the way I like them. Loved up couple Elise and Patrick celebrated their big day earlier this year, on a gorgeous summer day deep in the forest. Both of them look gorgeous, but a special thumbs up has to go to Patrick for his fab red tie - I love the way it tones with Elise's bouquet, the bunting and even the tablecloths. Other wedding ideas to steal include the birchwood vases and peg cake-toppers, plus the daisy-filled vintage watering-can. Many thanks as always to the team at Our Labour of Love for their stunning shots!

Real Sunshine Summer Wedding: Erin & Steve

Plenty of gorgeous wedding details for brides to snaffle from this stunning summer wedding. Erin and Steve picked yellow for their theme colour for their garden wedding, and the weather obliged, as the sun shone all day long. I'm super-excited to see freesias in Erin's bouquet - with their sweet scent and many-hued blooms, I'm guessing they're going to be the go-to flower for 2013. Other wedding ideas to copy are the handmade cider glasses, replicated in graphic form for their order of service. Also loving Erin's use of rafia as a recurring design detail - simple, cheap and totally brilliant for a garden wedding. Huge thanks to the team at Our Labour of Love for these gorgeous pictures!

Real Yellow-Themed Vintage Wedding: Kat & Ben

This wedding is a serious peach, packed with wedding details galore, and tonnes of wedding inspiration. I'm loving everything from the wedding flowers {pom pom buttonholes - woohoo!}, linen suits {chic boys}, pageboy flags and programme fans. But there's more! The mismatched table vases, the yellow parasols and the giant flower in the bride's hair. Everything is perfect, not least the Our Labour of Love photography - yum!

Real Yellow Themed Simple Wedding: Jordan & Adam

Sometimes it's not about the details. Sometimes it's just about you and your boy getting married, in a gorgeous location, with a fantastic photographer to record the details. So if you're not the type of bride who's going to obsess about whether your bridesmaids' dresses match the napkins, then this wedding will rock your world. Jordan and Adam celebrated their big day in the green of the countryside, and Jordan wore an exquisite strapless dress with a simple tiara and no veil. Simply fabulous. I'm also seriously in love with her choice of flat yellow shoes for her big day - no one was going to stop this lady dancing! Adam also kept with the theme with yellow Pringle socks and a lovely orchid buttonhole. The other brilliant element about this wedding is that Adam's surname is Jordan, and Jordan has indeed decided to change her last name, so her newly married name is Jordan Jordan - seriously cool! Huge thanks to Our Labour of Love for their gorgeous pictures.

Real Destination Hotel Wedding: Jessica & Jay

Palm trees make me wish I lived in California, especially when they feature so beautifully in a wedding day! Jessica and Jay had a truly unforgettable wedding at the Viceroy in Palm Springs, and I might as well come clean and admit I'm jealous. Just look at the turquoise pool, the bright pink peonies and the emerald green grass. So different to London's grey pavements and pigeons. I'm keen to copy Jessica's white-wrapped simple bouquet, the tulle underskirt of her dress and her lace-edged veil. Copy the black-edged mini-marquee with an Indian-style tent from Raj Tents. Most of all though, I want to live in the Viceroy. Gorgeous pictures from the team at Our Labour of Love - big love and thanks to them!
