Real English Fête Wedding: Sally & Mark

Themed weddings make for a truly stand-out and memorable day, so if you're looking to make your wedding different from everyone else's next year, then take a look at this fabulous fête wedding! Sally and Mark celebrated their big day in the gorgeous English countryside near Salisbury, and drew inspiration from old-fashioned fair, complete with bowling coconuts, tonnes of bunting, fling the horseshoe game, and a competition for their guests with prizes! I'm loving all the vintage details, the unpretentious Village Hall reception, the cheese wedding cake {yum!} and the fab photography by My Love Story. Sally and Mark both looked gorgeous in their wedding outfits, and don't you just love Sally's red polka dot shoes? I'm totally obsessed with their hand-drawn wedding invitations too - I love that they invited their guests to camp! Now that's quintessential English fun! Do take a look at Sally's list of suppliers and advice - scroll down through the photographs to the end.

* Hair: Fascinator by Katie Vale Designs
* Any regrets? None - although it would have been nice to have a couple more hours the day before so I wasn't in Tescos at 8pm instead of relaxing in the bath - but I'm sure everyone thinks that, and the relaxing bath was never going to happen really!!
* Best decision made: Staying true to our original ideas and concepts, while managing to keep costs relatively low! And camping in a teepee instead of going to a hotel!

Real Rustic Wedding: Nicki & Roni

Have you chosen a signature colour for your wedding yet? If you're looking for inspiration on how to use colour at your wedding, then look not further than this sturnning rustic-style affair. Nicki and Roni picked bold purple as their colour, and used it in just a couple of key details; the carnations on the tables, and Nicki's bridesmaids' dresses. But the real secret lies in how IN-frequently they used the carnations - only occasionally as punctuation. Super effective, no? Other stealworthy wedding ideas include Nicki's wildflower-style bouquet, her sweet wavy hairstyle, and the vintage crates and milk bottles on the tables. I'm also loving the airmail place-markers and personalised flags on the straws. Huge thanks to the team at Our Labour of Love for capturing all the details in such style!

Real Peach & Paper Lantern Wedding: Belinda & Simon

You've got to love it when a groom gets into the wedding planning. The groomzilla is a rare and wonderful beast. He's should be admired by brides the world over, for actually appreciating why wedding details are important {not boring}, and for embracing wholeheartedly the wedding process. Most grooms {my husband for one} show no interest, so let's hear it for Simon, who along with his gorgeous bride, Belinda, planned the most incredible wedding in Jersey. I'm loving all their wedding details, including the paper lanterns, shabby-chic floral bunting, luggage tag place markers and twine-wrapped vases. I'm also head-over-heels in love with Belinda's gorgeous wedding gown, and the fabulous peach dresses she chose for her bridesmaids. Beautiful pictures published with thanks to Colin Cruickshank Photography.

Beautiful Wedding Marquee Inspiration

Marquees are fantastic for hosting truly personalised weddings. As long as you've got enough space, you can pick and pitch in any location, from a field to your parent's garden. And then the fun starts! You can decorate the inside any which way you like - carpet colour, drapings, lighting, tablecloths, chair-style, flowers - it's all up for grabs. I've recently fallen for these arty drapings by Crescent Moon - loving the butterflies and feathers - which one would you choose?

Real Farm-Style Shabby Chic Wedding: Jess & Rik

If I could get married all over again, in England, this wedding is exactly how I would want to do it. Gorgeous Jess and Rik celebrated their big day in the Bristol countryside, with a glamorous farm-stye theme, complete with a tractor and trailer to transport them from the church, and straw bales for seating. Themes are all about drawing inspiration from your venue - it'll make the details more likely to fit in with their surroundings. That's why the burlap, traditional marquee and vintage suitcase guest book area work so well in this wedding. I'm also loving Jess' incredible gown, and her bridesmaids' soft pink dresses, which must be some of the most flattering I've ever seen. No ghastly Bo Peep outfits for these ladies! Fab traditional green striped straws too. Stunning pictures published with thanks to Butler-Madden Weddings.
