Real Golden Autumn Wedding: Sheryl & Nick

Autumn is famous for its golden light, and this fab couple almost glow with happiness in these pics of their big day. Sheryl and Nick chose a beautiful afternoon in October for their wedding, and celebrated in style, in a gorgeous garden ceremony. Inspiring details include Sheryl's bouquet of berries and blooms, plus her choice of rich red for the table cloths. The happy couple also used cake flavors instead of table numbers or names, and encouraged guests to dive in instead of doing a formal cake cutting. Don't miss Sheryl's stunning sapphire and diamond engagement ring - no wonder she looks so happy. Huge thanks as ever to Jessamyn Harris for her first-class photographs.

Real Summer Garden Wedding: Jennifer & Ramsey

While I'm sunning myself in the south of France on my honeymoon, I thought it only suitable to post his gorgeous Provence-inspired wedding. Jennifer and Ramsey celebrated their big day under the olive trees with the scent of lavender in the air - what's not to like? I'm particularly loving their simple stationery and home-made jam adorned with olive motifs. Personalised caps are a brilliant idea for hot day favours, and check out the oyster bar and berry cocktails - yum! I'm also a huge fan of how Jennifer toned the tomato dishes with her bouquet and flower arrangements, all those beautiful oranges and yellows are the essence of summer. Huge thanks to Jessamyn Harris for her stunning pictures, and praise has to go to Molli and Denise of Green Girl Events, for their stylish ideas.

Real Misty Autumn Wedding Plus Giant Cupcake!

This wedding just goes to show that even on a classic grey, English day, a wedding can be truly stunning thanks to the little details. If anything, it's the mist at this couples' big day that makes it all the more romantic and atmospheric. Jessamyn Harris took these gorgeous photographs at the wedding last week, and I just adore all the picnic details - the marshmallows, camp-fire and cushions - plus the GIANT cupcake is the best!

Real Autumn Wedding: Angela & Colin

There definitely seems to be a trend connecting autumn, orange and dahlias - as I've seen a fair few weddings that used them last autumn. It's not surprising, as dahlias are just the most gorgeous flowers, jaunty and colourful, and available in every hue under the rainbow. Angela and Colin used them to fabulous effect on their big day, scattering petals over the buffet tables, and arranging them in simple blue jars (also hugely in fashion) and even as a motif on their invitations. Other wedding ideas to copy list are the individual picnic rugs (brilliant favours), the cute ring cushion and the two-tone stripes on the bridesmaid dress- so much more cheerful than a block colour!  Many thanks to Jessamyn Harris for her gorgeous pictures.

Real Wedding: Elizabeth & Darren

Planning a summer wedding?  Well check out these gorgeous pics from Elizabeth and Darren's wedding in Napa Valley.  I've got a real thing about fans - check out Elizabeth's fabulous feathered number - and the be-ribboned sparklers are a brilliant touch.  Just imagine each of your guests holding one of those in an arch, as you leave your reception at the end of the night - smashing!  Huge thanks to photographer Jessamyn Harris - we heavily heart her work!

Real Wedding: Mo & Kent

Vineyard weddings are the best! Not only do they make the best backdrop to a beautiful big day, they also provide endless wedding ideas. From cork placemarkers and grape table displays, to personalised bottle labels and the homegrown wine itself, it's a fantastic theme. Mo and Kent {okay, mostly Mo} put a lot of work and thought into their wedding, including plenty of stealworthy ideas and DIY touches. Read more about her planning process on her blog Pink Argyle. My favourite spots are the multi-coloured lanterns, the Sprinkles cupcakes {peanut butter chocolate flavour...mmmm}, the rosehip buttonholes and polkadot ring pillow. If you check out the pics you'll see Mo and Kent had a table for two at the reception. Known as the sweetheart table it's really common in the US, and the trend is coming here. The thinking behind it is that the bride and groom barely ever sit through the whole of the meal, busy greeting guests, so it's better to have their own little spot rather than leave two empty places on the top table. Good idea? What do you reckon? Many thanks to the lovely Jessamyn Harris for these gorgeous pictures.

Real Wedding: Angela & Alex

The bride's bouquet usually sets the mood for the florals for the whole wedding, and for her gorgeous winter wedding, Angela went for the bold blue and red of irises and roses. You'd expect her bridesmaids to be carrying posies in the same colour, but instead of continuing the theme, she decided to flout tradition, choosing contrasting colours of yellow and orange. Somehow it worked, which just goes to show you can mix and match bold shades, as long as they're the same tone. It's also a brilliant way to brighten up a dull February day. Other stealworthy details include Angela's husband Alex {we love a man in uniform!}, and Angela's pretty half-up half-down hairstyle. Photo credits and thanks to Jessamyn Harris for her lovely pics.

Eco-Chic Week #8 - Rustic Elegance

Is there anything more romantic than getting married in a forest? Happy couple Henry and Isby picked a gorgeous rustic-elegance theme for their big day, and fabulous photographer Jessamyn Harris was there to record every little detail. My most inspirational spots have to be the CD favours (perfect for the drive home), the bold orange napkins and the personalised beer bottles. And I love Isby's gorgeous backless dress, and the seed pearls studding her hair - so pretty!
