Colourful Quirky Wedding Bunting

Bunting at weddings is my current obessesion, and I've actually just bought 200 metres of it for my own wedding via Ebay. Real Wedding: Jackie & Aaron

Jackie and Aaron's wedding was a riot of colour, with rich purples jostling alongside vibrant red, pink, turquoise and orange. The decadent-luxe theme continued with grand candelabra and drapes, plus Indian inspired drapes and incredible florals. The happy couple celebrated their big day in New York, but with that much detailing, they could have been anywhere in the world. Perfect inspiration for couples looking to create an international theme to their back-yard big day. Huge thanks to Karen Wise for her gorgeous pictures.

Real Wedding: Angela & Alex

The bride's bouquet usually sets the mood for the florals for the whole wedding, and for her gorgeous winter wedding, Angela went for the bold blue and red of irises and roses. You'd expect her bridesmaids to be carrying posies in the same colour, but instead of continuing the theme, she decided to flout tradition, choosing contrasting colours of yellow and orange. Somehow it worked, which just goes to show you can mix and match bold shades, as long as they're the same tone. It's also a brilliant way to brighten up a dull February day. Real Wedding: Lindsey & Jeff

Plenty of popping colours in this fantastic Our Labour of Love wedding. Lindsey and Jeff tied the knot in a flurry of bright red petals and blue berries on the edge of a forest. Loving the turquoise in Lindsey's bouquet, and the crimson of Jeff's tie, plus the cute scallop-edged name tags. I'm also a big, big, fan of vintage signs, and the 'from this day forward' sentiment adds an edge of fairytale to the whole affair. Simply stunning!

Real Wedding: Kristen & Toshi

Loving the bright details and irreverant style of this gorgeous big day shot by the fab Christine Chang. She's totally caught the personalities for bride and groom, Kristen and Toshi. I'm particularly impressed with how the pink and orange of the bridesmaid's bouquets are reflected in the cute cupcakes, and the way the colours pop against the wedding party's dark blue outfits. Add in the candy bar and the goodbye sparklers, plus the hilarious cake-topper - and it's well on the way to being one of my favourite ever real weddings!
