Wearing A Veil On Your Wedding Day

Wedding veils can be a difficult beasts. After all, it's the one accessory you only really wear once, so it's not like you get a great deal of practice on what style suits you best. My bridesmaids had terrible trouble fitting my incredible Delphine Manivet veil at my wedding, so I'd definitely recommend getting your hairdresser to do it for you. Or at least do some serious practice ahead of your wedding day. I'm particularly loving the wedding veil style in this picture below, discovered on fab blog Cup of Jo, by Amy Carroll. Real Shabby-Chic Barndance Wedding: Jamie & Bryan

The sheer abundance of copyable details from Jamie & Bryan's big day, have got me in a tizz. How can I put in words the sheer wonderfulness of it all? What should I mention first? Luckily the team from Our Labour of Love have gushed on my behalf, pointing out the barn-dance invitations, the oodles of bouquets and birds nests, the flea market antique plates, the symmetry of the parasols and the personalised jam-pots. PLUS my biggest love, and something that should be in everyone's list of wedding-wants, the Kick Off Your Heels flip-flop favours. Such a fantastic idea to keep your girls on the dance-floor.

Vintage Wedding Ice-Cream Van

From pink campervans to blue ice-cream vans called Betty - I've got an obsession with unusual wedding catering this month! This baby-blue van is owned by the lovely Hayley, who loves kitsch and great ice cream, and combined her two passions to create Vintage Scoops. As well as locally sourced ice cream, Betty also comes supplied with a range of vintage ice lollies and traditional soft drinks. All served from a 50's style van festooned with bunting, by Hayley in her best floral frock. It's a great way to keep your guests sweet at your wedding.

Real Cupcake & Seaside Wedding: Emily & Neil

Vibrant turqoise is such a stuning choice for a real wedding, but it takes a brave bridesmaid to carry it off. Luckily, Emily's bridesmaids look fabulous in their gorgeous gowns, and I'm loving their cute fingerless gloves, corsages and bold nail varnish. There's a real fabulous forties feel to their wedding style. I'm also loving the love-birds cake, the laser-cut cupcake cases and the Alice in Wonderland 'Eat Me' labels. Plenty of wedding inspiration of a bride planning a shabby chic wedding. Gorgeous pictures published with thanks to Angharad from Gwenter Photography - loving the wild beach shots.

Winner! Butler-Madden Weddings Engagement Shoot

After many hours of deliberation, we can officially announce the WINNER of the incredible Butler-Madden Weddings Engagement Shoot. Congratulations Josie! Patrick Butler-Madden will get in touch with you soon to make arrangements. Josie suggested an urban engagement shoot to contrast with her rural wedding, which will be on a little island off the coast of Ireland. So she'll be booking Patrick to join her and her fiancé around east London, taking in Columbia Road Flower Market for blooms and bacon rolls, Brick Lane, Regents Canal and Broadway Market. Doesn't that sound gorgeous?

Real Delicate Destination Hawaii Wedding: Stella & Peter

Brace yourselves for a wedding-love overload. This is one of the most exquisite destination weddings I've ever seen, and as a wedding blogger, that's saying something serious! Photographed by the incredible Jose Villa {the reigning King of all Wedding Photographers}, and planned in Hawaii by Beth Helmsetter, I'm blown away by every detail. Just drink in the pictures people, on this one I'm lost for words.
