Real Aubergine Forest Wedding: Dani & Ryan

You know you're in for a treat, whenever Jose Villa pictures a wedding. He's one of the world's best wedding photographers, and he makes every big day look exceptional. Of course it helps when you have amazing wedding details like the New England Riverside Farm venue, Dani's divine Elie Saab wedding dress and stunning venue styling by Moon Canyon Design. The colour palette wings its way straight to the top of my love-list - its impossible not to look elegant in rich aubergine, and Dani's bridesmaids are gorgeous. The music-themed wedding stationery by Monumental Designs set the tone for the wedding day, as the guests were entertained by a grand piano moved outside for the ceremony. I love the barn reception and the stargazer set-up outside. You can imagine the guests searching the skies for shooting stars! Real Barn & Burlap Wedding: KT & Chad

Brides planning a barn wedding are going to L-O-V-E this incredible big day, photographed by the fabulous Jose Villa. It's a shabby-chic wedding explosion, with tonnes of dreamy vintage, burlap and wooden details. Throw in a couple of romance swings, tonnes of ribbons, succulents and the best wedding dress I've seen in a long while, and I'm in wedding heaven. Drink in the wedding details, ladies, and keep an eye out for the mossy monograms and the stitched, cotton wedding invitations. Paper stationery is so passé! P.S. Have you spotted KT's giant bridal bouquet? This season's bouquets are all about size, and bigger is definitely better.

Pretty Wedding Favour Packaging

When it comes to wedding favours I'm a complete sucker for truly pretty packaging. It almost doesn't matter what's inside the little parcel {although food is always a good thing!}, I can get truly over-excited about the wrapping. Easy DIY Idea For Your Wedding: Blackboard Paint

Despite starting Before the Big Day before my own wedding, I still missed out on some fabulous wedding ideas. A particular miss was blackboard paint. It's without a doubt the easiest wedding DIY on the planet, and I just wish I'd stumbled on it when I was planning my own DIY wedding. You can buy it online in a huge range of colours {i.e. not just black!}, and paint it on to pretty much anything, from wood to glasses, plant pots and cork. I'm a huge fan of individually labelled jam jars at a rustic wedding, and this wedding back-drop {below} is amazing! Plus a blackboard menu will save you printing individual cards for each table. Real Simple Green Wedding: Janina & Lean - Reception Details

It's the moment you've all been waiting for - the amazing reception pictures from this eco-friendly wedding. With simple but sweet details, including bunches of fragrant rosemary hanging from the roof of the wedding venue, the wedding decorations perfectly matched the venue. I love it when brides and grooms use vegetables instead of wedding flowers, and Janina and Lean chose artichoke flowers and cabbage leaves, dusted with what looks like icing sugar. Rustic sticks add to the outdoor-indoor feel, and naked {un-iced} wedding cake continues the homespun feel. Guests ended the night dancing under a canopy of lanterns - an idea I'd love to imitiate. Real Simple Green Wedding: Janina & Lean - Wedding Portraits

In the golden afternoon light, fabulous wedding photographers We Love Pictures,  captured these stunning wedding portraits at Janina and Lean's wedding. I've fallen for Janina's natural wedding style, her bridesmaids' pretty peach gowns, and the ushers' cute bow-ties. If only we could recreate the weather in the UK! This stunning wedding was all about the beautiful kitchen garden venue, so I love how Janina chose simple, green rosemary leaves as the main feature of her wedding bouquet. It was so eco-friendly, even the local, giant tortoise wanted a nibble!
