Real Wedding: Kerry & Chris

The best weddings are those that reflect the couple, their shared passions and their individual quirks. Don't be shy to let your personality come through, it'll make your big day stand out from the crowd. For a fantastic example take a look at Kerry and Chris' fabulous wedding at Wokefield Park. They're both complete chocoholics, and as a consequence chose Cadbury's purple and yellow for their colour theme. I've never heard of a chocolate bar inspiring a wedding palette, but isn't it a genius idea? Imagine a Skittles-themed wedding, or a chic After Eight affair, of an Ambassador's Reception inspired by Ferrero Rocher! Other stealworthy ideas include the youngest bridesmaid's in-theme Converse sneakers (very sensible for dancing), the spectacular sparkler cake-cutting and the hilarious Photo Wall - a clever idea by talented photographers Lily & Frank.

Real Wedding: Jennifer & Oliver

London is one of the most inspiring cities in the world, so it's not surprising that LDN weddings tend to rock my world. There's so many iconic images that can be incorporated into your big day, from black cabs to red buses, the River Thames, the tube, Big Ben and of course soldiers in bearskin hats. Jen and Olly managed to find a fair few of those details on their post-ceremony walk down The Mall, and it really adds to the atmosphere of their pictures. But the details don't stop there! Throw in Jen's Vera Wang dress, an orchid bouquet, and the breathtaking London Oratory, and you've got a wedding made in heaven. I particularly love the room in the The Waldorf Hilton where they celebrated their reception, it's so light and airy and elegant. Don't miss the last pics, as Jen and Olly performed a fabulously choreographed foxtrot for their first dance. A great idea for a couple who aren't that confident on the dance floor. Try Wedding Day Dance for your own lessons. Huge thanks to Lily & Frank Photography for their gorgeous pictures.

Real Wedding: Cat & Matt

Fire engines and weddings don't normally go together, but when a fireman's marrying the girl of his dreams, it's a whole different story. The lovely Cat & Matt celebrated their big day in Guildford, and travelled to the church in a vintage engine. While the day started slightly drizzly, the sun came out for the reception, and the lovely Lily & Frank Photography made the most of it, with these gorgeous pictures full of golden light. The happy couple chose The Barn at Bury Court for their reception, and filled with pink-tinted favours and luxurious roses. I'm a huge fan of Cat's cute floral hair clip, and her light veil, which she wore over her face as she walked down the aisle {how romantic!}. The bridesmaids and ushers were colour-coded in fushia, making for a super-stylish wedding party, and fantastic pictures.
