Real Blue-Themed Boho Wedding: Abi & Nath

If you're an eco-bride, a hippy-chick, or you just love the great outdoors, you're going to adore this countryside wedding. Abi and Nath fell in love with their venue Fforest Farm in Wales, and encouraged all their friends and family to come down and celebrate with them, before bedding down in tipis and tunnel tents for the weekend. I'm loving their free spirit, the gorgeous rural venue and the fact they did their wedding their way. DIY brides can take inspiration from the handmade cake, dress and entertainment, all of which was done by friends and family. Get those people working for you! Other stealworthy ideas include the Monsoon bridesmaids dresses {cheap and chic}, the white bunting {always my fav}, and the thistles, which are becoming a bit of a Before the Big Day trend this week. Gorgeous pictures as ever from Hannah at  Kinver Miles Photography - we heart her work big time!

Real Marquee & Bunting Wedding: Claire & Tim - Part 2

Brides planning a marquee wedding will want to save all the pictures from this fabulous Manchester wedding. It's Part 2 time for Claire and Tim's wedding {Part 1 here}, and you're going to love the reception pictures. With a bunting theme and purple as a theme colour, every wedding detail is perfectly thought out, with tonnes of DIY wedding details. The wedding cake, the cake topper, the wedding stationery - everything was bunting themed, and handmade by friends and family. I love how Tim's dad organised the orchid table displays and the buttonholes - as a member of the British Orchid Society he was best placed to choose the perfect blooms. Remember to draw on the talent of all your friends for your wedding - we had a fantastic DIY session the week before our wedding day, and put together tonnes of the decorations and wedding stationery. Claire did the same thing - don't miss her answers to the Before the Big Day Bride's Questionaire for more helpful wedding tips. Huge thanks to Kayleigh Pope Photography for her beautiful pictures.

I took a long time to decide what marquee theme I wanted – toying between shabby chic, morrocan tent or classy event, but I kept coming back to clean white, with purple {my favourite colour} accents. I also love bunting as it seems so celebratory, so eventually we decided to go with purple ditsy-print and gingham bunting, with white broderie anglaise. This then set the tone for my wedding theme and all the other wedding details - including the wedding invitations and stationery!

I loved every second! My advice for other brides? Don’t stress out and worry about things because everything will be fine - people can't do enough for you on your wedding day! Suddenly the little details don't matter so much anymore - having everyone you love in one room is just amazing!

For our wedding flowers, I knew we wanted orchids on the tables as Tim's dad is in The Orchid Society of Great Britain. He sorted these table flowers out for us, along with the buttonholes for the ushers.

The whole of our wedding seemed like a giant DIY project – from cutting out thousands of triangles for bunting, to digging drainage holes in the field before the marquee was put up! We also handmade our bunting wedding invitations - printing the details onto material. My sister-in-law spent lots of time researching how we could print onto material without ink running, or having to buy industrial fabric.

The best man's mum made our wedding fruit cake as many years ago her mum {our best man's grandma} had promised to make Tim's wedding cake. Sadly she died a year before the wedding so Carolyn made the cake for us instead –upholding her mum's promise. Our very close friend Gill decorated the wedding cake, again with a bunting theme! To make it even more personal, the cake couple were sat on a tortoise – our first pet together!

Real Jewel Coloured Wedding: Roni & Peleg

Sit down and prepare yourself for an inspirational overload. Believe me, it's enough to make you go weak at the knees. The lovely Roni and Peleg chose a gorgeous palette of purples, lilacs and royal blue. Throw in a touch of the softest pink, and you've got a wedding-style made in heaven. Other stealworthy ideas include the extravagant white-themed sweetie bar, the French macaroons and the beribboned chairs, and I'm l-o-v-i-n-g Roni's Romona Keveza mermaid dress. To copy this couple's style, consider using dark table cloths with white accessories for a dramatic evening look. Many thanks to Stephanie Williams for her smashing pictures, she's fantastic at spotting every detail - just what we like!

Purple Pale & Romantic Wedding Inspiration

Thinking about theming your wedding around the colour purple? Then take a good long look at this incredible wedding shoot by Annie Beedy of Mim & Honey, featuring flowers by Riley Messina of Erba Floral Design and wedding cakes by Cambria Goodwin of Butter. I've fallen for the rustic simplicity of the bride's rose and anemone bouquet, complete with twisted twigs and sticky buds. The wedding centrepiece is just as imaginative, with hanging grapes and rosy apples creating an opulent harvest festival feel. Add twigs and branches to your own wedding cake, for an easy DIY wedding project.

Real Teal & Purple Desert Wedding: Amanda & Derrick - Part 2

With just too many pictures to fit into one wedding blog post, here is Part 2 of the deliciousness which is Amanda and Derrick's desert wedding. Soak up the wedding details - I'm loving the teal tablecloths teamed with vintage hydrangea blooms and single succulents. Also the I Spy photo list, designed to encourage your guests to snap as many wedding pictures as possible, it also works as a great ice-breaker to get your guests talking. Buy a similar porcelain ring dish from Paloma's Nest - they're the classiest way to display your wedding rings. Amanda and Derrick chose Reflections at the Buttes in Arizona as their ceremony venue and the beautiful The Wright House for their reception. Gorgeous pictures published with thanks to Photography By Verdi, and if you missed Part 1, click here.
