Real English Fête Wedding: Sally & Mark

Themed weddings make for a truly stand-out and memorable day, so if you're looking to make your wedding different from everyone else's next year, then take a look at this fabulous fête wedding! Sally and Mark celebrated their big day in the gorgeous English countryside near Salisbury, and drew inspiration from old-fashioned fair, complete with bowling coconuts, tonnes of bunting, fling the horseshoe game, and a competition for their guests with prizes! I'm loving all the vintage details, the unpretentious Village Hall reception, the cheese wedding cake {yum!} and the fab photography by My Love Story. Sally and Mark both looked gorgeous in their wedding outfits, and don't you just love Sally's red polka dot shoes? I'm totally obsessed with their hand-drawn wedding invitations too - I love that they invited their guests to camp! Now that's quintessential English fun! Do take a look at Sally's list of suppliers and advice - scroll down through the photographs to the end.

* Flowers / Centerpieces / Tableware: Vintage bottles from eBay and borrowed from my parents, flowers grown by my parents!
* Jewellery worn: Kitsch plastic heart ring from eBay, red and white spotty earrings from Camden Market
* Advice from the Bride: We were extremely lucky to have a brilliant 'wedding team' of family and friends - including parents who picked up wine from France, made the bunting, and grew the flowers - so that helps if you can get that!
* Hair: Fascinator by Katie Vale Designs
* Any regrets? None - although it would have been nice to have a couple more hours the day before so I wasn't in Tescos at 8pm instead of relaxing in the bath - but I'm sure everyone thinks that, and the relaxing bath was never going to happen really!!
* Best decision made: Staying true to our original ideas and concepts, while managing to keep costs relatively low! And camping in a teepee instead of going to a hotel!

Real French & English Wedding: Abigail & Huw

Enchanté! That's my attempt at a French description of this exquisite English wedding, with plenty of gorgeous details from across the Channel. Abigail and Huw live in Hong Kong, so they hired Anne-Laure from Et Voilà Weddings to organise their church wedding near Bristol, with the wedding reception in Abbie's parent's garden. I'm loving the quintessentially English rose theme to this romantic wedding day, which all stems from Abbie’s father's nickname for Abbie; Rose Bud, referring to her beautiful rose colour lips on the day she was born. So sweet! The tables were all named after roses, the details are all dusky pink, and Abbie even wore a rose in her hair and on her dress. Other fantastic wedding ideas to steal include the romantic mini-tent chill-out area in the garden, and the live music from a harpist and flutist. Beautiful pictures published with thanks to the very talented Giorgia Bertazzi.

Real English Countryside Mansion Wedding: Naomi & Simon

If you're planning an English countryside wedding then you're going to find tonnes of wedding inspiration from this gorgeous spring-time wedding. Gorgeous bride, Naomi chose sage green as her theme colour, and kept her wedding details clean and elegant. I'm loving her bridesmaids' dresses with their feminine sashes, and the way their pearl accessories tied in with Naomi's stunning halterneck gown. Other fantastic stealworthy ideas include the single arum lily table flowers {cheap but chic}, and the lovely linear stationery {again in green}. Wedding favours were minature cakes in cute boxes - always hugely popular with guests, and a great way to make sure the wedding cake doesn't go to waste. Naomi and Simon chose the lovely Maunsel House in Taunton as their wedding venue, and I'm loving the historic feel to their intimate dining room. Fab pictures published with thanks to Howard Keith Photography.

Kate Moss' Incredible English Fête Rock n' Roll Wedding

It's taken a few months, but we can now see the incredible Mario Testino pictures from Kate Moss' wedding to Jamie Hince. They're just as wistful and romantic as you would hope them to be, with a good dollop of vintage glamour thrown in for luck. There's a definite Midsummer Night's Dream feel to them - and I'm loving Kate's entire wedding outfit - everything is exquisite, from her divine John Galliano dress, to her daisy-embroidered veil and her simple tennis bracelet. The best thing is that it almost looks like a normal English wedding - minus the supermodel element! I'm loving that Kate held her reception in an English marquee and chose daisies as her signature flowers - so light-hearted and non-showy. Also loving the flower girls' French Bonpoint dresses and the fleet of vintage Rolls Royces for the bridal party. Check out the rest of the pictures in American Vogue - there are some amazing shots of Kate's famous friends.
