Real Rustic Beach Wedding: Grace & Mike

Beach weddings have to be my favourite. The sea-side setting is so stunning, that it always makes for beautiful weddings, with hardly any need for extra decoration. Grace and Mike picked white sands of Puerto Vallarta for their big day, and added a pretty palette of pinks and purples. My favourite wedding details are natural accents, from the rafia on the stationery and flowers, to the wood log side tables and flowing white cotton curtains. Also loving the vintage decorations; the jam jar vases, the open door {very symbolic of a new future}, and the window frame table plans. Love! Huge thanks to Sarah Yates for these gorgeous pics, and don't miss Grace's wedding story on US wedding blog Green Wedding Shoes.

Cute Shabby-Chic Burlap Banners

Loving these cute banners! They'd be perfect for a shabby-chic, rustic real wedding. FunkyShique add red glittered hearts to black glittered "LOVE", in any font you choose. It'll make a great photo prop for your wedding, and after the ceremony, you can hang it above your bed as a momento of the day. There's plenty more designs - definitely worth checking out their website.

Real Yellow-Themed Wedding: Lesego & Lize

This gorgeous garden wedding is bursting with personality. It shows exactly how you can combine your own quirky characters into a wedding that truly celebrates who you are as people. Lesego & Lize tied the knot on a beautiful farm on the outskirts of Johannesburg surrounded by their awesome families and lots of colour, love and joy! The happy couple chose sunny yellow as their theme colour, and added plenty of DIY wedding details. I'm loving the lanterns, the ushers ties, the hay bales, the white ceramic vases and the stunning grey and yellow wedding stationery. As a wonderful memory-maker, Lesego and Lize asked their guests to sign a quilt - such a clever idea, and a wonderful record of a beautiful day. Huge thanks to We Love Pictures for these gorgeous detail-filled photographs.

Real Wedding: Eileen & TJ

Welcome to your weekend! I have a delicious rural wedding for you this fine Saturday, packed to the brim with wedding ideas and inspiration. Pictured by the hugely talented Jose Villa, it has a chic ranch theme, with a wonderful mixture of rustic and glamorous details. Bride and groom, Eileen and TJ, teamed glitz with traditional wood, chandliers with chunky loaves of bread, and burlap with mercury glass vases. I'm deeply in love with every detail, but my favourite wedding ideas to steal include the hand-painted map {envy!}, her bridemaids stunning Saja dresses, and the berries in the table flowers. Plus don't miss the Divine Twine wrapped around the bread - you know it's my favourite thing in the world!

Real Rustic Wedding: Sarah & Jason

Outdoor weddings are right up my street. I'm planning my own garden big day, so any wedding inspiration on how to embrace the great outdoors, gets a huge tick in my book. Sarah and Jason chose a rustic vintage look for their day, with accents of blue and green. Wedding ideas to steal include the raw birch centrepieces, Sarah's amazing floral crown, the lavender and organic honey favours, and the wooden boxes of flowers - rustic bliss! I'm also loving the blackboard menu and the ceremonial circle of white petals. Sarah's gorgeous wedding gown was designed by Amy Michelson, and all the bridesmaids' shawls were bought from Etsy - my favourite wedding shopping site. Now, sit back and enjoy these heavenly pictures from the team at Simply Bloom Photography.
