Real Teal & Purple Desert Wedding: Amanda & Derrick

Most brides seem to choose pink, grey or sage green as their wedding theme colours, and I was no different. But how about picking are more unusual colour palette? Amanda and Derrick chose teal and purple for their wedding accent colours, and their wedding looks beautiful against the Arizona desert landscape. Like many American couples, Amanda and Derrick chose to do a first-look photo shoot ahead of their ceremony, which always makes for the best pictures. There are tonnes of portrait picture ideas here, including the blackboard 'Thank You' shot, which I'm sure they used for their wedding thank you cards! Stealworthy ideas include the succulents in Amanda's stunning bouquet, her bridesmaids' simple strappy sandals {it's kind to give your bridemaids a choice between flats or heels} and the cute monogram baubles hanging off each bouquet. Some brides attach a vintage broach or necklace to their bouquets, or a locket with pictures of their grandparents. It's a lovely way to carry your loved ones with you as you walk up the aisle. Gorgeous pictures published with thanks to Photography By Verdi - more from their reception and wedding ceremony coming later this afternoon.

Real Desert Monochrome Wedding: Angela & David

This wedding makes me want to get married in the desert! Not the first location that comes to mind when you dream of your big day, but just wait till you see these pictures. Angela and David got married this winter in New Mexico, against a stunning pastel background of mountains and forest. Shot by the amazing Stephanie Williams, I'm totally obsessed with all the gorgeous details, not least the marshmallow camp fire. Don't miss Angela's gardenia and feather bouquet, her elegant fake-fur stole and silver-glitter decorations. And check out the baby's breath in their table bouquets, it's this season's flower of choice - cheap, cheerful and utterly romantic.

Real Colourful 3-Day Morrocan Wedding: Stephanie & Anand

Prepare yourself for a blast of colour with this incredible destination wedding in Morocco! Stephanie and Anand celebrated their big day in Marrkech, in a three-day extravaganza, which included two wedding dresses and a camel, plus some serious partying. Stephanie arrived at the wedding in a litter carried by four robed men - way to make an entrance! It makes walking up the aisle look passé. I'm also loving the pink awnings and red carpets, plus these incredible two green thrones. Throw in all the wonderful traditional garlands of flowers, beautiful saris and a macaroon cake, and I'm in Moroccan heaven! Fantastic planning by Boutique Souk, and huge thanks to Joe Lasky Photography for his beautiful pictures.

Real Destination Wedding: Umida & Mohamed

Destination weddings are all about the location, and when you're looking a location as gorgeous as Tunis, you can guarantee a spectacular big day. Umida and Mohammed chose the Residence, one of Tunisia’s finest hotels, as their wedding venue, and headed off to the ancient ruins of Carthage just as the sun was setting for the wedding photographs. It was perfect timing, and made for some incredible pictures. I'm loving the feather details on Umida's dress and shoes, and the pretty little studs in her hair - simple but stunning. Aren't destination weddings the best?! Fantastic pictures published with thanks to Anna Rosell.
